📜 Description

🜂 Origin & Spirit – Fudō Myōō, the Immutable

In the Japanese Buddhist tradition, Fudō Myōō is the unyielding protector, the one who cuts through ignorance and fear without trembling.
This katana embodies this symbolism: a blade straight in its intention , without superfluous artifice, designed for the practitioner or collector who seeks the essence of the sword , and not excessive ornamentation.
Its balance and geometry are reminiscent of the blades used in classical schools of kenjutsu and battōdō .

Forging & manufacturing

The blade is forged from high-carbon 1095 steel , renowned for its ability to achieve an extremely fine edge .
The presence of a real hamon underlines the differentiated heat treatment, ensuring a blade that is both hard on the edge and more flexible in the body.
A ritual engraving adorns the blade, reinforcing the spiritual and martial identity of the katana.
The whole thing is carefully polished to reveal the natural lines of the steel and the reading of the hamon.

Frame & details (Koshirae)

The frame adheres to traditional Japanese design principles:

  • Saya, lacquered in deep black , made of wood, simple and elegant
  • Tsuka covered in black samegawa (ray skin)
  • High-quality black Ito , tightly braided for a firm grip
  • Menuki , fuchi , kashira in silver and gold-plated brass
  • Brass habaki , ensuring a precise fit in the saya
