The Shirasaya (白鞘, literally “white scabbard”) is a traditional scabbard used to hold high-quality blades. Its distinctive feature: no guard ( tsuba ), no braiding, only the purity of polished wood housing a formidable blade. This Japanese minimalism expresses the mastery and discretion of the sword, as illustrated in the film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai .

A forge faithful to tradition

The blade of this katana is forged from 1045 carbon steel and polished with a groove ( bohi ) to combine lightness and balance. Sharp and durable, it allows for cutting on tatami or lightweight bamboo. Each blade is carefully polished to reflect the elegance of traditional Japanese swords.
