In Kill Bill , Beatrix Kiddo – nicknamed The Bride – survives the massacre of her wedding and vows revenge on Bill and his deadly squad. To fulfill this quest, she travels to Okinawa to meet Hattori Hanzo , the legendary blacksmith who had sworn never to create weapons again.
But when faced with the enemy he hates more than anything in the world, he breaks his oath and forges a unique sword: the masterpiece of his life .
This katana becomes the Bride's mythical weapon, wielded in the film's most iconic fights: the duel against O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88, and then the final confrontation against Bill. More than a weapon, it is an embodiment of justice and absolute determination .
