In the shadow of unified castles and amidst the clash of decisive battles, a blade forged a legend. This katana pays homage to Toyotomi Hideyoshi , the visionary strategist who, with an iron fist and ruthless cunning, completed the unification of Japan at the twilight of the 16th century.

Hand-forged according to ancestral rites, it embodies the union of prestige, authority, and martial elegance , enhanced by a black and gold finish worthy of a daimyo. A sword where every detail whispers of the legacy of the great unifiers.

📜 Description

Inspired by the ceremonial sword that Toyotomi Hideyoshi might have carried during the Sengoku period, this katana captures the essence of Bushido command and discipline .

His tsuba, engraved with the image of Lord Hideyoshi, evokes the determination of a man who built his destiny through cunning, ambition, and absolute mastery of combat.

Every detail of this sword pays homage to the era of Japan's great unifiers — a time when steel cut the destiny of nations, and when a single man knew how to transform chaos into empire.

Forging & Manufacturing

Forged from 880-layer folded steel , this katana offers a Damascus blade with a hardness of approximately 35 HRC , with a subtly wavy hamon revealed by polishing.
The "folded steel with bohi" forging process lightens the blade while strengthening its balance.
Each piece is assembled by hand , guaranteeing a perfect harmony between strength and elegance .

Frame & Details

The saya is made of deep black lacquered wood, traversed with gold thread and adorned with a matching sageo .
The hardwood tsuka (handle) is wrapped in a gold braid imitating leather, with a clear samegawa underneath.
The fittings (tsuba, fuchi, kashira) are made of engraved zinc alloy, the tsuba representing Hideyoshi himself, a symbol of his warrior heritage.

Uses & Benefits

Balanced for the practice of iaido, kenjutsu and tameshigiri , this sword is equally suitable for cutting rice straw and for high-end decorative collections .
Its lightness and visible hamon make it a perfect piece for dojo training or display in a traditional Japanese interior .
