In the world of The Walking Dead, Michonne's katana is much more than a weapon: it's her identity, her shield, and her justice in a world devastated by zombies. This faithful replica, dubbed "Zombie Slayer,"captures every detail of her sword: an elegant brown saya with a carrying strap, a braided white tsuka, an engraved circular tsuba, and a long, tapered blade marked with the biohazard symbol.
Visual authenticity
The colors and finishes perfectly respect Michonne's iconic weapon. The white braiding of the handle (tsuka-ito) contrasts with the brown sheathed saya, while the cast metal guard (tsuba) displays a post-apocalyptic design, reminiscent of the fierce battles against the walkers.
Actual performance
Made from 1045 carbon steel, this hand-forged blade offers a razor-sharp edge and a mirror-like polish. Its balance allows for cutting on tatami mats, bamboo mats, or for martial arts practice (iaido, battodo).
